The Patrons of The Cameri Theatre Association is a philanthropic community of over 400 members, including prominent figures from the Israeli business sector and supporters worldwide. Founded in 1993 to promote and support Israeli theater and local culture, the Association was established by Etty Caspi, its first chairperson, with Leah Rabin serving as its first honorary president. Today, the Association is led by chairperson Michal Fuhrer and director Keren Arazi Oranim.
Since its inception, The Patrons of The Cameri Theatre Association has championed numerous projects that have significantly enriched the Israeli cultural landscape. These include: donating theater tickets, bringing Cameri Theatre productions to Israel's periphery, supporting young theater artists, and making theater accessible to young people from all sectors of Israeli society. Furthermore, during the COVID-19 crisis, when the cultural world was at a standstill, the Association's members established a unique aid fund dedicated to supporting the theater's actors and employees.
